METHODS OF WASTE DISPOSAL

Recycling: Lead-acid batteries or electronic circuit boards, heavy metals in these types of ashes go through the proper treatment, they could bind to other pollutants and convert them into easier-to-dispose solids.
Portland cement: The process of converting sludge into cement by adding pH adjustment agents, phosphates, or sulfur reagents to reduce the settling or curing time, increasing the compressible strength and reducing the leach ability of contaminants.
Incineration, destruction and waste-to-energy: Hazardous waste destroyed by incinerating at a high temperature by controlling the amount of oxygen to reduce the amount of harmful by-products produced.
Pyrolysis: Concentrated organic waste types, including PCBs, pesticides and other persistent organic pollutants are eliminated using pyrolysis in an ultrahigh temperature electrical arc, in inert conditions to avoid combustion.
